This is my
father as a young boy. He was born on July 17th 1912.
The
location of the photo is unknown. There were vacant lots opposite
my grandparents house on Adams Street, across from the Morris
Park Ave/180th St. train station, in the Van Nest section of the
Bronx, near Bronx Park East, so that seems a likely location.
Knowing my father was always well organized, I doubt the papers
on the ground were his homework.
