This is my parents wedding picture. They were married on Christmas Eve, in 1938, in St. Dominic's R.C. Church, in the Morris Park section of the Bronx, NYC.  The day was chosen because my father was only off from his job with the government on that day.  He was 26, she was 22.   Henry [Enrico on his birth certificate] died on December 26th 1995 at age 83 of a stroke. He was born July 17th 1912. He had a healthy life with only an appendix operation at age 34 that can be noted.

2 weeks after he died his first great-grandchild, Kaylee Brooke Cirrincione, was born.

Gladys died on July 28th, 2008 at 92. She was born on May 17th, 1916 in the UK. Her physical health was good up until her death. She had developed Dementia/Alzheimer's a few years after my father's death and spent the remainder of her life in an assisted living complex in Whiting, NJ.

They are buried together in Whiting Memorial Park on Rt.530.

In the era that they were married, the Catholic Church would not allow them the normal church wedding, because my mother was Episcopalian. They were married in the rectory, and my mother didn't wear the usual white gown. One of the stipulations to allow their marriage was that any children were to be brought up Catholic.  The only times that my brother and I went to my mothers church was on Mother's Day.
