This is my great-uncle, Antonio Corte, my grandmother's brother of a different mother. He is in his new Lancia auto. It's, I'm pretty sure, a 1928. In this genealogy, somewhere, I think I told the story of my uncle Tony drilling a garage out of solid rock underneath where the house is. Well this photograph is taken exactly in front of that rock. I know it so well that I know that Lancia is not going to fit in it. He, did make it large enough to fit a Studebaker of 1940's vintage and others. |
