Page 1 - Enis and Nick Digeloromo

Domenico Digeloromo with his wife Enis at Graham Beach, Staten Island, New York City. Nick was born January 20, 1916. He died Christmas day 1951.
His father's name was Francesco, and his mother was Antonetta Spano.

His family origin was Southern Italy, but not Sicily. From what I gathered from Ellis Island, the family came from Taranto; which is in the instep of the Italian “boot”, at the top right-- next to the heel.

His last name was spelled differently on occasion.

His birth certificate says "Digiloramo" and his Baptism certificate says "DiGirolamo". Their Wedding Certificate spelled it "Digeloromo". That's how Enis, Carolyn, and Linda spelled it.
Enis was born November 18, 1918, and died May 17th, 2004 at 86 years.
