Linda and Carolyn in Highland Lakes NJ. Their Step-father, Al, bought a cottage in the late 60's and added two bedrooms on to it. After Al's passing in the early 70's, and when mom Enis retired- she moved there permanently. All the children, and parents, had marvelous times there. There was three lakes on the top of a mountain. There was a smaller lake that had swimming within walking from the house, and a larger lake that was great for fishing with boats and electric motors allowed. Then, because it was such a nice area, my brother and his wife, Aurora, bought a nice house on the third lake. |
