This is the map of Italy and the province of Piacenza. The city of Travo, in the province of Piacenza, is where Carolina Fracchioni and Giuseppe Buglioli lived last before the trip to America. Travo is the closest city to Bobbiano, which is where Giuseppe Buglioli lived according to references. Travo is located south of the city of Piacenza. Southwest of Travo is Pecorara and Casa dei Fracchioni which is the home of the Fracchioni clan- which was Carolina's family name. You cannot go west from Travo to get to Pecorara because of mountains and there are no roads going there; you go southwest to Bobbio, then northwest to Pecorara; then southwest a short distance to Casa dei Fracchioni. [click here] The village of Mezzano Scotti is also shown. This may be where the Buglioli's also lived at one time.
