This photo was taken by our driver, Riccardo, on the yard in front of their home in Casa Fracchioni. With us is Simona Fracchioni and her husband Alberto Edossi. They have two children: a girl about nine, and a boy about three or four. Simona showed us inside their home, which was very tiny compared to what we are used to. I bumped my head going up to see the bedroom. The bathroom was located off an outside walkway past a bedroom with no door. The house was very well kept and the children were very quite. I imagine what a hard life one hundred years ago when according to Ferruccio and Romano there were seventeen living in the house. Simona was very sorry to see us go. We had established because of Linda and Carolyn's nonnie's maiden name that somehow she was a relative of theirs. She sent a phone number of “Uncle Ferruccio”, who lives in Canada. He was the closest to her since her father died. All the Fracchionis' to date are VERY friendly and hospitable.
