This is the entrance to Casa Fracchioni, as we approached. Casa Fracchioni was started by one family farming the land. Each male child built his own home and eventually the whole area was occupied by Fracchionis'. Hence the name... “House of Fracchioni”. For more photos of the village, click the links below. To return here use the back arrow on your browser. The next photos taken before we met Simona. We met Alberto, who in turn called Simona [a Fracchioni cousin—as it turns out!]. They then showed us around their home, and we met their children. This is their weekend home- they live and work in Milan. Simona wants to refurbish this home.
