Instructions Page 2
Many of the photos that are in this presentation that were on the DVD version are not available to copy from this presentation. The is a link to the original “IMAGES” folder below in blue. There are many, many directories full of photos that were not yet made into pages that are located in sub-folders labeled by family names. You can follow directions given there: 'screenshot' or download them to have them for yourself. {I don't know about trying the downloading without having a “Dropbox” account.}
All photos I have are available are HERE!!
Browse the "Images" directories listed on there to find the original images of any photos you may wish to have. Find the image sub-directory you wish to peruse (ie. "Ferrero Corte"). Some images are found in the presentation and not in the links directories. Sorry, transposing to a webpage caused moving some photos to the pages out of necessity.
To find the filename of a photo while your viewing the main program (page view): holding the mouse pointer over the photo should bring up the link address. [ex. Family Tree/images/Buglioli/Giuseppi.jpg].
It usually will display somewhere on the page. MAC does it on the bottom-left.
ALSO: browse for folders that contain other information, such as the census record folder under “Images” which has naturalization papers, draft board registrations, etc.
A message from me:
I started this in the beginning of 2000. I have used MANY different programs to add to or edit the original HTML designs. Also as more photos became available, I sometimes created a “new” directory to hold them. Then, after continuing the additions, and before adding them to the “Images” directories under the proper family- they were left there. Now I find myself reluctant to move many of them for fear of not having the “Pages” link's work correctly. If that makes it confusing for you. I AM sorry! You can access every photo in this presentation in some way. Call me if you need assistance. I will sent a copy of it to you!
